I woke up to a headache
from lack of input,
A screaming backache
from lack of support,
And could have stayed in a state where the lack of motion
perpetuated no motion.
I could have walked by myself
eaten by myself
driven by myself
and perpetuated the cycle of implosion.
But I didn't.
I wandered the corn maze in pairs, in groups, and occasionally as an individual,
but never alone, for we were all in the field,
together.
I played among the apple trees,
Swam through the pumpkin patch,
Shared apples and munched on doughnuts
and laughed
romped
adventured
talked.
I went out and had fun today
and it made all the difference.
